A Mysterious Encounter in the Marketplace
In a quiet village, an unusual incident stirred fear and curiosity among the local community. A man, suspected of being a Skal, visited the marketplace one ordinary day to buy groceries. While moving through the market, he was noticed by several people, particularly because of the way he stared at the women around him. His gaze made many uncomfortable, though nothing was said at the time.
Later that day, one of the women who had been at the market suddenly fell ill after returning home. She began to experience sharp internal pain without any clear physical cause. As her condition worsened, she reported having a vivid dream or vision in which she saw the same man from the market.
The connection between the two events did not go unnoticed. Members of the community began to compare her symptoms with similar past experiences. Based on their shared understanding and cultural beliefs, they concluded that the suspected Skal had spiritually attacked her.
In response, the woman sought help from a local healer, known as an Ojas. Through traditional healing practices, the Ojas treated her condition. Gradually, her pain subsided, and she recovered fully.
This incident once again reinforced the community’s deep-rooted beliefs about unseen spiritual forces and the presence of individuals believed to possess harmful supernatural abilities.
